Money Heist 5, also known as La Casa De Papeli is the most awaited show of the year 2021. The show will be released in two parts on Netflix. The first one got released on 3rd September and the other one will be out on 3rd December 2021 It is the show which keeps you on the snare and never debilitates you. The main USP of the show is it is as meteoric as the previous series with some of the deeds highly doubtful, but you will still support them. The series is full of tension, and pressure. But, one thing everyone expected out of Season 5 – revenging Nairobi’s death, but eventually what happens will give you sleepless nights.
The most awaited show – Money Heist 5
The first segment of the season started on a prompt note. It is packed with an adrenaline rush, full of action, heart thumping, and nail-biting experience, although a bit foreseeable – same strategy, similar plot and action with new characters coming in and varying relationship dynamics. With the women taking in the lead in season 5, it has given heist an absolutely unique significance.
The team is still dealing with the loss of Nairobi who was killed by Gandia Yet, Lisbon’s entrance into the Bank of Spain has given them some expectation. The 4th season of Money Heist ended with Alicia Sierra pointing a pistol at the professor’s, which pounced the heart of each and everyone in the audience. The Sierra-Professor trail is loaded with anticipation and the frown gets deeper in the forehead due to tension.
Tokyo steals the show
Money Heist 5 revolves completely around Tokyo (Ursula Corbero) and her dead ex-boyfriend Rene. In this season you will see altogether a different Tokyo – A much stronger, more daring, and someone who can take control in her hand. The audience will see her vulnerable side and how she dealt with the death of her boyfriend. Her emotional side will break you down.
The season has beautifully portrayed her relationship in the series with her ex. There will be a great deal of new faces which will add profundity to the storyline. But what pinches the most is when Alicia torments the Professor and shoots him on his leg. Though it is still ambiguous what is the exact plan Alicia, we can expect some disclosures in the second part of season 5 which will be released on 3rd December.
There is a lot of emotional turmoil in the series as you move ahead like Manila confessing her love for Denver, Helsinki getting severely injured, the professor getting caught by Alicia, Stockholm‘s guilt, and the most devastating part was Tokyo’s death which jolted every soul who was watching the series. The most hateable character remained Arturo and everyone wanted him to die.
A Women Dominated Series:
No wonder Money Heist 5 is female-oriented – Tokyo, Lisbon, Alicia, Stockholm, and Manila. And the entire gang is more expert, self-confident, and robust. The hostages this time goes out of hand, which causes a lot of disturbance within the gang. There is hardly any chance to survive the heist of Bank of Spain with the army entering the premises and Tokyo getting executed. Now, everything is about survival and coming out alive.
The sloppy part of Money Heist 5:
The script keeps running back to flashback very swiftly, which breaks the momentum. The storyline was also a bit convenient and repetitive. Every time a gang member is in serious danger, the circumstance will by certain means align for their escape. In all previous season’s professor always had a plan of action, but this time he never anticipated he will be caught by Alicia and will be tortured. The professor is the lifeline of the show, it was a bit bizarre to even think that this time he didn’t have a Plan B.
Despite the bleak ending of the first part, the audience is desperately waiting for the 2nd volume of season 5 to be released. The show was full of the rollercoaster ride which made the audience glued to their sofa. And cannot wait to see the act of revenge of Tokyo and Nairobi’s death.
