How do you start?

You can take a bus or a cab from Delhi if you’re coming from there. Additionally, Kasol is well connected by road to all other significant cities. The Kheerganga trek journey:

To begin your journey, you first travel from Kasol to Barshaini, a little village where the Parvati and Tosh rivers converge. Everything in the area is reasonably priced and economical. From here, it is an 11–12-kilometre hike to Kheerganga, which should take 4–6 hours to complete.

The best of these lovely waterfalls is the serpent-shaped waterfall of Rudra Nag, which can be seen on this 12-kilometre hike through old traditional villages. The ever-beautiful surroundings and expansive, breathtaking views of the Himalayas are also included in this walk.

1.Pack appropriately for Kheerganga trek

The most crucial thing is to think about putting on a sturdy pair of hiking shoes. You should be at ease on the Kheerganga walking trail. You won’t be able to appreciate its natural beauty if your feet suffer while you’re walking.

Therefore, be careful to wear supportive hiking boots. Don’t forget to bring a jacket or other warm clothing. Your trekking route’s weather is highly erratic and subject to change at any time. Even if you are walking in the summer, be sure to bring at least a light jacket. But in the winter, you must have enough warm clothing and a cover for mild rain.

2. Mobile connectivity

Make sure to tell your friends and family about your excursion before you set out on it. In the Parvati Valley, mobile connectivity is essentially nonexistent. There aren’t any cell phone towers nearby, so the signal quality would be quite poor, and if you are lucky, you might find wifi at your base camp.

On your journey, some of the communities might have some connectivity. You shouldn’t, however, hold out hope for a strong signal.

3. Bring Cash

There are no ATMs to withdraw cash after Kasol. So, make sure you have enough cash on you to buy food along the road. The restaurants and “dhabhas” in the area only take cash. Therefore, it is a good idea to equip yourself by bringing enough supplies for your food and other needs.

4. Begin your journey early

The 12-kilometre Kheerganga trek can be completed in as little as 6 hours. As you ascend throughout the day, you’ll have a lot of sun on your face and may find it uncomfortable. You should get up early and begin your walk early in the day. Your trip will be comfortable and enjoyable as a result.

Despite the fact that the temperatures are not particularly high, you could begin to feel warm due to the sun’s frequent exposure to your face. Starting early will enable you to remain relaxed enough to take in the area’s natural splendour.
