TV actress Daljeet Kaur, an ex wife of “Bigg Boss 16” contestant Shalin Bhanot, has rekindled her romance with UK-based Nikhil Patel. They are expected to get married on March of this year.
Daljeet Kaur and Nikhil were engaged on January 3 in Nepal, as per sources. Following their impending nuptials in March, the actress and her son Jaydon will relocate to London.
Daljeet said, “I still do not fully understand a lot of stuff.” I will move to Nairobi (Africa) for a few years because Nikhil is currently assigned to work there. He was born and bred in London, so one day we will return there.
Even Salman said the same on Bigg Boss 16 a couple of weeks ago.
Salman Khan even reprimanded Shaleen on Bigg Boss 16 and stated, “Thinking of you, Daljeet is happy in her life and has found her love.” In response, Shaleen stated that I am happy for her. Daljeet Kaur talked about her marriage with the E-Times in the meantime. She announced that she would shortly get married this year. The actress emphasized how happy she was to have found love again. Shalin sobbed when receiving a letter from his family during the Bigg Boss 16 contestants’ family time in December, when they received greetings from family and friends. “Shalin, I have not watched Bigg Boss in a while, but I came across this, and I wish you well for this path ahead,” Daljeet Kaur commented with the video of his emotional outburst on her Instagram Stories. She participated in Season 13 of Bigg Boss in 2019. 2009’s fourth season of the dance reality series Nach Baliye was won by Shalin and Daljeet. Daljeet, who played Manjiri in Kaala Teeka and Anjali in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, most recently appeared in Sasural Genda Phool 2.
Nikhil and Daljeet’s love story
Daljeet disclosed that she first met Nikhil at a party in Dubai last year, when they connected over a shared interest in parenting. He chatted extensively about his kids, Aariyana and Anika, while Daljeet told him about her son, Jaydon. Additionally, the actress admitted that she had seen blue nail polish on Nikhil’s toes. He gave a serious response when she questioned him about it: “I am a proud father of two kids.”
She said that while older daughter Ariana will live with the couple, younger daughter Anika continues to live in the US with her mother.
“At the time, there was no romance—just the conversation of two single parents.” Love developed over time. “We were brought together by our love for our children,” she said.
Daljeet Kaur claimed that although she was first hesitant to try love and marriage again, she eventually realized that she wanted to move forward with Nikhil because she missed having a friend as well as because Jaydon wants a dad.

Shalin Bhanot and Daljeet Kaur met on the sets of the TV show Kulvaddhu.
Prior to welcoming their son Jaydon in 2014, Daljeet and Shalin were married in 2009. She, however, accused Shalin of domestic abuse in 2015 and requested a divorce on the same grounds.
The two then engaged in a nasty divorce dispute, with each party making accusations against the other.
Before going into the “Bigg Boss 16″ home, Shalin had been meeting Jaydon periodically while he stays with Daljeet.
Since Jaydon should not suffer as a result of his parents’ relationship, Daljeet Kaur has recently revealed that even if she marries Nikhil, she would never prevent Shalin from meeting his son.
She added that she will take Jaydon with her to meet Shalin in India. “If Shalin marries, I will be the one to introduce that girl to Jaydon,” she declared.
