The only couple till date who had a wedding in the house. They got divorced within next 2 months. There was a rumor that the live-in couple was paid Rs. 50 lakh to increase the TRP of the show by the makers. But the channel denies the same.

2. Navjot Singh Sidhu holds the record till date that never got any elimination votes from fellow contestants. Due to his political commitments, he had to quit the show. There were rumors that he called it off to save his tainted image on the show.

3. There are rumors that the housemates who are addicted to alcohol are served alcohol in juice packets. Few celebrities demand for liquor and the maker do take care of this need.

4. Contestants getting intimate in the house are very common.

Many housemates get attracted to each other and get cozy. An intimate scene doesn’t go well with the audience since it’s a family show therefore the editors chops off the steamy scenes.

5. During the day time, few housemates find hideouts to sleep where a camera can’t capture them like under the table or behind the sofa in the Bigg Boss house.

6. The winner of Big Boss 9 Prince Narula has also won MTV Splitsvilla 8, MTV Roadies X2 and Nach Baliye 9 along with his wife Yuvika Chaudhary (whom he met in big boss). He is called ‘The King of Reality Show’.

13. Few housemates have reported about paranormal activity taking place in the house. Crew member agreed for the same. They have also spotted a strange looking woman, standing in the corner of the room.

14. The Big Boss house is too big to be cleaned my inmates alone. Housemates do minor dusting and cleaning and a cleaner comes from outside who cleans the house. The contestants are not allowed to interact with them, they are kept away from the cleaners and magnetic gates are shut while the cleaning staff does their job.

15. Till date no wild card entry has ever won the show in the Bigg Boss.

17. The contestants are not allowed to interact with media as and when they are selected for the show and even after eviction is done they have to take channel’s permission.

18. No books are allowed to be carried inside the house which includes Holy Scriptures such as bible, Gita.

19. Every participant’s bags are checked thoroughly before entering the house. Bags are also screened for food items, mobile phones, books, clocks and other gadgets which make noise and can create distraction.

20. Special requests of the participants are also entertained by the bigg boss like shampoo, cream or any day to day requirement which has got over. They also have to request this in-front of the camera to bigg boss.
