The Bigg Boss 17 finale is about to come, and fans are curious to know who will get the trophy on January 28, 2024. But this season was actually very boring and not at all impressive. This season, there were a lot of changes in the format by the bigg boss, which didn’t go well with the audience. Bigg Boss openly said that he will be biased towards the contestants who will be playing in favor of him. Here is a list of reasons why Bigg Boss 17 failed to win the hearts of viewers:
1.Too much interference by Bigg Boss in the house
Bigg Boss was biased this season, which was very evident. Hence, the inclusion of Bigg Boss in the game gave tough times to those contestants who were not favorites. However, the fan became irritated with Bigg Boss’ over involvement as a result. To make matters worse, Bigg Boss and Salman Khan repeatedly criticized Vicky Jain—the sole guy adding interest to the show—for his manipulations in the house.
2. Bringing three couples into the house was boring
An argument between a couple irks everyone. The husband-and-wife dynamic is very different. Bigg Boss presents three couples to the house for TRP purposes only. It also appeared like an unjust move for TRP to bring in ex-partners like Abhishek and Isha. A few viewers feel it is not appropriate to bring someone’s ex-partner into the home for TRP. Everyone has a history, so keep it secret.
3. A luxury budget task was missing
To add interest to the show, tasks from the luxury budget or other chores are executed. This allowed housemates to show their skills and survival instincts. As a result, viewers thought the show was mind-numbing.
4. Long period without a captain
There was no captaincy task for almost eight weeks. Therefore, participants lost their excitement.
