Bigg Boss 17’s fourth runner-up, actor Ankita Lokhande, has stated that she needs time to “recover” from all that happened to her during the reality game show. During an interview with PTI, Ankita revealed that she feels no remorse about being authentic on the show. The actor claimed that it gets challenging to stay in the Bigg Boss house.
Ankita declared, “I honestly have spent all of my time on Bigg Boss.” My entire range of emotions was expressed. I used to emphasise a lot that I wasn’t hiding anything from the audience and that I was honest with them. A lot of things happened despite my best efforts to prevent it. Although it’s okay, I was sick of myself. That is a part of who I am. I couldn’t help but be myself. I was who I was. Absolutely no regrets. I was, however, perfectly fine with my eviction once I found out. Not irritated, but shocked instead. It seems like there was a gap in the fandom that I had assumed was there to support me. I have relished the experience.”
“I think that what happened in the house has negatively impacted my mental health, and I need to move past that. Though I’ve never been one, the circumstances forced me to develop profound thinking. In the process of getting better, I’m trying to make sense of some of the events in my life. I’ll get over it, but it will take some time. Ultimately, it comes down to how I handle things and go on, even though Vicky, my mom, and everyone from Vicky’s family are all present. She said, “I’m trying to manage things.”
