1.Not asking for any hidden cost:

Many resorts have a fee attached to it, which is unavoidable and remains hidden till the time you checkout. 2. Not notifying for Free early check-in or late check-out:

Many times, our flight or bus or train reaches the holiday destination much before our check-in time. The standard time of check-in usually is 2 pm, but many hotels come with the option of flexi check-in, which could either be free or with some nominal charges. At the time of reservation, hotel staff can’t promise the same, but will make a note of it. Prior to your visit one or two days before, you can again request or follow up with them.

I will tell you a thumb rule, always talk in a requesting mode nicely, so one wants to take orders and that too when it’s a favor you are asking for. If you ask the same last minute, you might have to pay extra fees. For late checkout, you can request the same upon arrival at the hotel.
