LUDO

Ludo is a classic game which can be played between 2 to 4 players. It can be played online and offline as well. Ludo is played with a dice; each player is assigned a color and 4 tokens in their color. The players needs to roll the dice and strategically move the token in a way to beat others. The best part is ludo is now available for both Android and iOS platforms. It is among-st the best board game enjoyed by all age group.

CHESS

Chess is a two player strategy board game and is also considered as the most well designed game. It requires strategy, concentration and intelligence. It sharpens mind and improves cognitive abilities. There is different variations, moves and methods one need to memorize and have a vision to win the game. Chess also makes you calm and mentally alert. One can also play chess along with the computer by setting up the level from 1 to 10.

TAMBOLA

Tambola is referred to as the most fun game and is not just restricted to ladies kitty party anymore. It is popularly known as Bingo or Housie in most of the western countries. Every player has to buy minimum one ticket to enter a game. The ticket consists of 3 rows, 9 columns which makes 27 spaces. The purpose of the game is to strike all the numbers found in the ticket.

The team mate who first marks all the numbers in a winning pattern and calls a win is acknowledged as the WINNER of that pattern after the organizer checks his ticket and verifies it with numbers drawn. If your strike winning pattern is incorrect, it will be called BOOGY and you cannot carry on the game with the identical ticket. The game gets over when all 90 numbers are drawn, or when a winner is confirmed for all the patterns of the game, whichever comes first. The game is simple and highly appreciated.

Scrabble is a game people love to play. It requires 2 to 4 people to enjoy the game. The objective of the game is to gather more points than the other team mates. It needs a game board, a letter bag, 100 letter tiles and 4 racks. It not just increases your vocabulary but also makes your brain efficient while dealing with challenging tasks. It stimulates that part of the brain that deals with word finding. It is the most over whelmed game can be played with kids, elders, friends etc.

CARD GAMES

A classic card can be played by all age group. The card game is the most widely played game in the world. It can be played offline and online as well. Any number of people can play cards. It requires a lot of skills and brings excitement on the table. A social gathering is incomplete which doesn’t include any kind of card games. During some festivals, it is considered as auspicious to play cards. It also improves your cognitive skills and simple to learn.

CAROM BOARD

The game of carom is very interesting and can be played between 2 to 4 players. It is an indoor board game with 4 corner pockets and is played by a striker disc. Carom requires a lot of focus, practice, precision and a good wisdom of angel. A player is not supposed to touch the board of carom while playing and if does it is considered as foul. Back in the days, every household would have this in their home. It can be a fun match with your family during this lock out period.

Pictionary is a classic drawing and guessing game. An entertaining game for parties, group activities or one can play while sitting at home during the lockout. It requires Pictionary game, paper, pen, a minute sand timer. It can be played with a group of 3 or more people. One person will be chosen to draw the first word referred to as a picturist. A picturist illustrates the word using the paper and the paper. Rest of the people in the team will try to identify the word the picturist will draw. Basically, the game is all about guessing the words by drawing picture. The game peps up the enthusiast and keep the participants entertained.

SNAKES AND LADDERS

Snake and ladders is a board game one can play online and offline along with friends and family. It can be played between 2 or more players. Kids enjoy this game by endlessly playing it and even elders don’t leave a chance to play it. Each team mate places their counter on the space that says “start here”. There is a new 3D snake and ladder board game as well which is quite appealing and fun. It is recommended from the age group of 6 year and above.

My favorite childhood game. It is a classic property dealing board game. It is also referred to as Business. In this game, the players would buy sell properties, airlines, railways in exchange of the money. You can play this game online too. This game has injected so many dreams in my eyes. It consists of strategies and a tad bit of luck. It was also among-st the best seller game and was in every house hold. Monopoly can be played by two or more players. Every player has to roll a dice to move ahead. During this lock out phase of Corona Virus, don’t miss a chance to play monopoly or business.
