What is a Fart?

Farts or air build-up mainly comprises fermentation gases such as oxygen, some amount of hydrogen, nitrogen, methane, and oxygen. The air builds up because of eating food, chewing, and swallowing and later gets released from the body in the form of a gas or burp. It is the release of stomach gases, which is a part of the digestion process. Although the gases are without any smell, in some cases, they are extremely smelly because of certain food, medication, seasonings, and supplements.
