Delhi Kanjhawala Case: Shah Rukh Khan offers financial help to the family of victim Anjali Singh.

Anjali Singh, a 20-year-old woman, was crushed under a car and dragged to her death for several kilometres in the Delhi Kanjhawala case. The Delhi Kanjhawala case shook the entire country. Anjali’s body was found with her clothes torn off and her skin peeling.

Actor Shah Rukh Khan has stepped forward to help Anjali’s family. The Shah Rukh Khan Foundation has given an unknown amount to Anjali’s mother’s medical expenses as well as some comfort for her siblings.



In light of the fact that Anjali Singh was the family’s only source of income, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan decided to support her mother and siblings financially in the wake of the victim’s passing. As per media sources, the donation’s quantity is still a secret.

Delhi Kanjhawala Case victim Anjali had to do odd jobs for survival

Anjali’s mother has kidney issue, and her father passed away eight years ago. Anjali, who had just completed the tenth grade, had to take on many odd jobs in order to help the family.

Anjali has been forced to put her life at risk to stay alive. As per her friends and family  she had to work at events after losing her job.

The report claims that Anjali worked that evening at a party held in a hotel in Delhi. Before leaving her house in Karan Vihar at around 6 p.m. on December 31, she had told her mother Rekha that she would return the following day.

Rekha had to leave her job at a school due to country wide lockdown and kidney problems, so Anjali accepted a job at a beauty salon to help support the family.

Shah Rukh Khan founded the charitable Meer Foundation in memory of his father, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan. In an effort to advance women’s equality, the NGO helps cases like the Delhi Kanjhawala case.

20-year-old Anjali Singh was riding her scooty back from a party in the early hours of January 1 when it was struck by a Maruti Baleno, trapping her underneath. 13 km of dragging later, she passed away from her wounds.

The police have detained the five suspects in the Delhi Kanjhawala case, and it is said that they were drunk when the incident happened. The family doctor denied Anjali’s friend Nidhi’s claim that the victim was also drunk at the time.

In the wake of the Delhi Kanjhawala case, which has caused outrage across the nation, people are blaming the police for their obvious lack of dedication to make the city’s roads safer for everyone.
